Candy Cane Cross Stitch Pattern

A classic hooked candy cane with diagonal stripes. The white stripes have a soft grey edge, so the shape still reads on white or cream fabric. Hang one on the tree or stitch a row of them along a stocking cuff.

How to stitch it

  1. Find the centre of your fabric by folding it in half both ways.
  2. The PDF marks the chart centre with arrows; start there and count outwards.
  3. Use 2 strands on 14-count (3 on 11-count, 1–2 on 18-count).
  4. Stitch each colour’s larger areas first, then outlines, then single stitches.
